We took a bunch of band photos this evening at a local junkyard. No, we were not trespassing; the junkyard is owned by Trent’s family. Anyway, Sara was good enough to take the pictures for us and you can see for yourself the results:
The rest of our pictures can be seen on our MySpace here.
If the above link doesn’t work, then click here to go directly to the band MySpace here.
I have created two new photo collections for your viewing ease and pleasure. One has most of the pictures from the studio sessions, and the other has photos from the last show in February. Eventually I’ll add more, but this will do for now.
The member biography section is finished. Check it out here.
In other news, Ted has one more song to record drums on, which is the album’s instrumental track, “The Authentic Sounds of Death.” In the meantime, Trent asked me to upload these two pictures he took in the studio on Sunday:
The other long-haired fellow is Shawn from the band The Fifth Sun. I’ll take this moment to think him for the use of his studio and his invaluable help on this album. Please take a look at their MySpace and check out their music.
Finally, I decided not to upload the vlog. By now it’s updated and not really worth putting up.
The band played a small gig in a friend’s basement last Saturday, and now that I have all the videos and pictures uploaded I can now share the details.
Pfazar opened, and they played well as usual. We played next, and despite a few technical difficulties and some minor mistakes, we also played pretty well. Unfortunately, the crowd was small and not that enthusiastic. Most of the kids just kinda stood around looking kind of bored and watched us play, probably unsure what to make of our 5-minutes-or-longer epic songs.
We did get some compliments, however. The guitarist and bassist from Pfazar. both congratulated us on an excellent set, along with the bassist and guitarist from In Pursuit of Tomorrow both remarked on how much they hated having to play after us.
